If you love pita chips like we do, try this quick and easy recipe and you will never buy pita chip bags again from the supermarket.

All it takes is a pinch of spices, olive oil, and pita bread. Put everything in the oven for 10 minutes, and the magic is done!

These pita chips are perfect for dips and spreads, but also to accompany salads or curry dishes. However, they are so tasty and crunchy that you can simply eat them as is.

Ingredients

  • 3 pieces of pita bread
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Pinch of garlic salt
  • Pinch of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried onion
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried chili peppers

Preparation

Mix all the spices together with the olive oil. Cut the pita bread into triangles. Transfer them to an oiled baking tray and brush them with the spice mix.

Serve hot or cold: they keep for one week in a sealed container. Happy dipping!

I love three things in life: my wife, my cats, and a good meal with a glass of wine. When I met Simona, it was easy to leave meat, dairies and fish behind... I don't miss it! Being vegan has never been a challenge. Over time, Simona and I started to prepare meals together and I discovered that I like cooking too! So, this is my blog... from husband to a vegan cook in one click!
