Puffed quinoa is a wonderful alternative to puffed rice: it gives you all the goodies of cooked quinoa, but in a snack!
We have tried it to make some chocolate bars, with only a handful ingredients, and they turned out great! These puffed quinoa chocolate bars are crispy on the outside and slightly chewy on the inside, and keep up to two weeks refrigerated in a closed container. They are so ridiculously easy to make that you can satisfy your sweet tooth any time you like!
To prepare them, next the butter and chocolate in a small pot. Incorporate the mini-marshmallows and take off the heat. Incorporate the puffed quinoa and transfer to a dish lined with parchment paper. Level the mix and put in the fridge for 2 or 3 hours.
Finally, flip the quinoa out of the dish and cut it into bars.
