2 heads Broccoli
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 teaspoon Chive
1 cup Basmati rice
1 teaspoon Vegetable powder
For the sauce:
3 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons Soy sauce
1 tablespoon Maple syrup

This recipe is so simple to prepare and so delicious, you will want to cook it over and over again!

Tempeh is stir-fried together with broccoli in a finger-licking hoisin-based sauce. Accompany with steamed rice and serve hot!

Cook the rice

Cook the rice in abundant water with a teaspoon of vegetable powder. When soft, take off the heat and set aside.

Slice and dice

While the rice is cooking, rinse well the broccoli and chop off the florets. Then, if the tempeh is not pre-sliced, slice it into thin strips.

Stir-fry the broccoli and tempeh

Heat the oil in a casserole and add the broccoli. Cook for 1 minute, stirring, then add the tempeh. Cook for another minute, then add the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and maple syrup. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, stirring, and then take off the heat.

Serve

Transfer to a plate with the rice and sprinkle with chive. Serve hot!
